August Feelings

It is August again and with it comes the smell of "New Air", or just the felling of cooler days.

August tends to be a very nice month for me as I like to take more walks and do more cleaning outside and the feeling that there is something different on the horizon feels nice.

August to me is the month of change, more so than any other month in the year or anything, I wish that the feeling I get from this month could last the whole year. but it never does, and it lasts from the beginning of the August to the middle of September, when we start to move to fall, which never really feels or smells as good as August here in California, which I guess might sound weird coming from someone who lived in California their whole life.

August is a month that I feel something very nice, not too hot, cool air, and light winds to help clear the skies for a wonderful feeling inside.

Project Vita: Part 2 – PlayStation Vita Games and Users

Project Vita: Part 2 – PlayStation Vita Games and Users

It has been over one year since Sony’s new handheld, the PlayStation Vita, was release on February 22, 2012 to the gaming market, and since then has been met with both good and bad reviews. After all the time that PSVita has been on the market, I have seen many gamers and critics giving the system the “Cold Shoulder” and many criticisms, both warranted and unwarranted. As a PSVita owner, who got the system within the first year of its release in the North America market, I was happy with the system before I even booted it up with my first game. The post that follows here is about the games that I have for my PSVita, the fun have with them, a look at how they are on PSVita, which will include feedback from other PSVita owners too about their consoles.

This is "Project Vita",

Part 1 - The PlayStation Vita Plan

Games are the heart of every console, either it be an old game from the 5th generation of home consoles, or a new game that was made today, every gamer wants games to play on their chosen console. So with the PSVita, the importance games are no different than other consoles, however, what those games are able to do, and make the PSVita unique to play.

Facebook, Fans & VA Requests

I will say this about Facebook, it makes my job for mahq.net, gundamn and CTCast a lot easier, but I am a very private person by nature, so when people ask for requests from me and I don't respond, it is because I am not comfortable sharing information anymore.

Since I started working for Gundamn in October of 2012, I made it my mission to do the best I can, and since I know I am the guy behind the veil, I would be able to work silently.

I guess what I am getting at is, when I joined Facebook I was trying to get out of my comfort zone, but this stuff never worked for me, and the only reason I really ever Facebook is for MAHQ.net, Gundamn and CTCast work because that is very imporant to me.

I got a lot of requests from fans of Gundamn and CTCast for VAs and actors they want to see on the shows, which I understand, I mean everyone wants to hear who they want.

But Please understand this, this stuff really is not easy for me or anyone as I have to time things out, between VAs and the shows, and getting them to yes takes time from weeks to months. So when you say nasty things to me that I am not requesting the right people, please note that does not make anyone feel good, let alone me. So Please, I ask you to please stop sending requests to me about which VAs or actors you want to hear, as I am trying to get the best in the business, and if I do not say thing about it, I have good reasons for it.

Thank you,

Sincerely Yours,

Dollow Rlance

Project Vita: Part 1 - The PlayStation Vita Plan

Part 1: The PlayStation Vita Plan

Description:
How I went about getting a PlayStation Vita

It has been over one year since Sony’s new handheld, the PlayStation Vita, was release on February 22, 2012 to the gaming market, and since then has been met with both good and bad reviews. After all the time that PSVita has been on the market, I have seen many gamers and critics giving the system the “Cold Shoulder” and many criticisms, both warranted and unwarranted. As a PSVita owner, who got the system within the first year of its release in the North America market, I was happy with the system before I even booted it up with my first game, and the reason I feel that way was because I had a well laid out plan for my PSVita, contrasting many other gamers (Myself include at one point) who I feel would buy a system for only one game, and feel like it does nothing after awhile. The post that follows here is the plan that I had for my PSVita, and the reason why I choose it over the Nintendo 3DS, which will include info from other PSVita owners too.

This is "Project Vita",

On November 2012 of Black Friday, I had gotten into line to get my PSVita against all the other people who had been line for one week, I once said to myself “I would never stand in line on Black Friday for everything.”, yet there I was waiting at 5:30 PM PST just to shop for a few things, but mostly for my PSVita.

Why was I standing in line for this piece of tech?

To understand that we have start at the beginning, when I first saw the PSVita in real life, which was at a GameStop in southern California, where I was just doing some window shopping, and there I saw a demo of the PSVita. When Sony talked about a 5-inch screen, it was just a number to me, but holding it in my hands it was huge, and I was a happy PSP player too, and the screen was there playing a demo of Gravity Rush, an open world, cel-shaded, steampunk adventure game. Seeing Kat (The main character) run along this city that was beautifully animated, and flies across the sky with her gravity powers, I was completely amazed. When my friend Sam got a PSVita, when he was playing on an arcade machine, I got to spend a good deal of time on the system, and I understood what Sony was saying about the PSVita, PlayStation home console gaming on the GO! So I knew what I wanted, but how to make the system work for me to it maximum level? What followed was a plan that I had set for myself to get within the first 12 months.

Solar Radio Wave Tribute Podcast: EP1 Generation Past

EP1 Generation Past

This is a return of  Solar Radio Wave, but not to the same level as before, I wanted to do a podcast again to keep my skills sharp as possible, plus I want to do something about gaming. The whole thing with SRWT is that it will be an irregular release podcast, and episode will come out when ever, as I am doing things for gundamn.net and mahq.net I don't want to over extend myself on a whole lot of projects. It was nice to work with Chloe and Sam again on a podcast, like the old days.

Description: The Return of Solar Radio Wave Podcast, in this ep Dollow, Chloe, Sam talk about 7th gaming console generation. Recorded on March 16th, 2013

Manga Review: Iris Zero (Chapters 01 - 27)

Finding a good manga that you enjoy reading can be a very difficult task some times, but there are times when you come across one that is a simple joy to read, and Iris Zero is a good manga that gives you a story that is simple and enjoyable, but makes you curious as to what will happen next.

Starting with the premise of Iris Zero, 27 years before the main plot, children around the world were being born with an enhance vision called "Iris", which range from unique powers such as; to see if someone is lying or being able to see incoming danger. Before long, a whole generation of children are born with an Iris, to the point it is normal for every child to have one (99% of Children as said in the manga), but there are a few who are born without an Iris and are labeled as an "Iris Zero" by their peers and are not looked on too kindly for being different.

The main story starts with the main character named Toru Mizushima, while riding a train to school he explains a little bit about his "Low Exposure" policy that is explained in more detail later, that he lives a life to not stand out or draw attention to himself as a Iris Zero; as it causes him a lot of trouble in his life. One day in class, his life becomes very complicated when the school idol, Koyuki Sasamori asks Toru to "Please go out with me" in front of his whole class, breaking his "Low Exposure" life. After a few amusing moments, it turns out that Koyuki needs help in finding the next student council president; as her Iris power allows her to see "who are the most qualified" for the task which displays over the heads of people with "O"s for qualify and “X"s for those who are not, but she cannot find the next president so she uses her Iris to find the one who can help her, and thus why it lead her to Toru. Hesitant at first to help someone so popular and endanger his privacy, Toru helps by pointing out that maybe the reason she could not find the right person for school council president, is because she cannot see above her own head, which it turns out that the circle "O" she was looking for to find the qualified person was really her. As the student body gushes about Koyuki being student council president, Toru walks away back to his unseen life, until he finds Koyuki waiting for him outside the school gates to greet him.
